DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_gallery interval=”3″ images=”18320″][vc_column_text]FEELGOOD FOOD EVENT! \nOne of the New York City’s largest pandemic response groups Queens Together (QT) is teaming with The Dominico-American Society of Queens (DASQ) to bring meals from local restaurants\, and USDA food boxes to families in the heart of Corona\, Queens. \nDASQ Executive Director\, Jose Tejada\, teams up with QT founder and Executive Director\, Jonathan Forgash to build a bridge that connects local restaurants with food relief efforts in their communities. Local Queens resident and Wine & Liquor distributor Ralph Trionfo has been an active volunteer with both organizations. Trionfo selected the restaurant’s and brands Jack Daniels and Turquoise Life to sponsor the restaurant meals. \nLocal Restaurants El Gauchito Established in 1979 & La Pequena Colombia Established in 1984 are preparing meals for 100 families in the neighborhood. DASQ volunteers will deliver to the eldery and infirm neighbors unable to leave home. SUMMARY:Sunnyside Strong: Fire Relief Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:Join the community as we eat\, drink\, and enjoy great music for a great cause. This fundraiser benefits those impacted by the fire on December 20th 2023. \nTickets: Adults $50 Children $25 \nOn December 20th\, 2023 a fire broke out at a residential building with more than 100 apartments. Sadly\, hundreds of our neighbors in Sunnyside were displaced just before the holidays and are now figuring out how to rebuild. \nJoin us for a night of music\, food\, drinks\, raffles\, and fun to benefit families impacted by the fire. Thanks to the generosity of the multiple restaurants\, vendors and musicians\, all money raised (minus the Eventbrite processing fee) will go to the Sunnyside Fire Relief Fund for those impacted by the fire. \nEvery ticket purchase comes with dinner\, and for those 21+\, a set number of drink tickets are provided while additional drinks are available for an additional donation. \nJoin the community as we eat\, drink\, and enjoy great music for a great cause. This fundraiser benefits those impacted by the fire on 12/20.
