🇮🇸 Recently enjoyed an unforgettable road trip from Reykjavík to the north of Iceland for the fly-fishing experience of a lifetime. Immense thanks to the Olafsson family for the warm invitation and hospitality to join their family retreat—your kindness made my trip so special. I was there to celebrate my dear friend Finnur’s engagement (and soon-to-be wedding!), and what a way to mark the occasion.

Katrin caught a nice salmon and I caught my first Arctic char, yeah it was small, but this city boy stepped into the river and made it happen!! I will never forget the magic of fly-fishing surrounded by jaw-dropping landscapes, big hearts, and unforgettable moments. I’m grateful for the new friends, new family, and memories I’ll carry forever.

There are so many other special moments that didn’t make the cut because I was present. Off the grid embracing the moment with meaningful conversations whether in the jacuzzi or at the dinner table.

In Iceland, tucked away in Thingvellir National Park, waiting for the rain to pass—and it was worth every drop. I hesitated when I found a spot only because, falling rocks does have the potential to ruin a moment. Once the rain stopped, I was cleared for take off. I had this natural wonder almost to myself. Flew the drone over waterfalls, fissures, and volcanic cliffs.

An unforgettable journey through the heart of California wine country — Sonoma and Napa — with my #NYC booze crew, touring world-class wineries and vineyards. Hosted by industry powerhouse @gallo back in ‘22, it was a deep dive into our portfolio, our craft, and the legacy behind every bottle.

I was a rookie drone pilot, cautious yet eager to capture the sweeping vineyards and golden hills from above. The landscapes were cinematic. The wine? Even better.

We ate like kings, drank like sommeliers, and bonded with our teams on the main stage of American winemaking.

A recent hot summer evening during a drive from Canada, I needed to cool off and go for a swim - I pulled up at Lake George — sandy toes, small-town strolls, and an old-school paddleboat cruising by at sunset. Sometimes detours take us where we belong.

The follow-up to my spontaneous roadtrip experiment to escape the city up to Canada 🇨🇦.

Bottom-line there’s no better feeling like being FREE on the road to explore - stop/go whenever wherever. I made mistakes, I struggled, I celebrated and I grew! I also met nice people, and danced in the street to dope house music!. I spent 1 night at a truck stop, 2 nights at a campsite and the last night, I crashed at a “pod/capsule hotel” for the convenience and experience.

I was able to see so much nature and wildlife - besides hawks, chipmonks and deer, a large black bear strolled right in front of me on the road.

Definitely will be better prepared
and will do it again! 🚗💨
