This is a current review of what it will cost to live in New York City’s most desirable neighborhoods. Obviously, Manhattan is the most expensive, Although I was born and raised near my favorite park and oasis Central Park, Queens has been my home for a number of years. When it was time to raise my daughter, we called Auburndale Queens home which is #2 on their list. My daughter took her first steps there and we enjoyed the quiet and convenience of having the Long Island Rail Road within walking distance. That daily commute into the city for work was smooth and pleasant. The school district (#26) is also a big draw for young families. I also enjoyed the ample parking with no alternate side of the street moving hassles.
