As a Queens kid, it was pretty cool to participate in a conversation with the @mets this week. The worlds borough is getting a world-class multi-purpose entertainment complex.

In the room were engaged representatives of the community, land use consultants and political stakeholders. We shared inclusive ideas about the redevelopment of the land around citified. Very exciting visions were discussed that covered many bases.
Home run recommendations included creating a 365 destination, connecting the complex with the waterfront, green spaces and walkways, youth development facilities, senior inclusion, job prioritization & career training, multi-cultural retail and hospitality themes.
